As Mars enters Taurus and Mercury moves into Cancer, we look inward at what nurtures us and find clarity in the mid-month period.
A new moon in Cancer in the last week of June and a full moon in Capricorn on July 13 brings the need for balance between our internal needs and worldly demands.
The entry of Mars into Taurus and Mercury in Cancer on July 5 will help us with this. As we turn our thoughts toward what nurtures us and we apply a slower, calmer approach, it will serve us well throughout the month.
That full moon in Capricorn on July 13 may bring a moment of clarity around professional goals, and possibly the destabilization of structures that support us. Any struggle to decide what deserves attention or what no longer supports you will need to be played out. Explore how expectations have shifted since the beginning of the pandemic and don’t be afraid of important revelations at this time.
If this full moon brings an event that feels like a setback, know that acknowledging the truth of a situation always signals a period of healing and a reclaiming of power. If your birthday is between January 11 and 13, or if you have sensitive points near 19 degrees Capricorn, you’re more likely to feel the effects of this full moon.
By mid-month, take time to reflect and re-align with your emotional needs. Nurturing your comfort zone in relationships will help resolve existing problems and will bolster your strength in the coming weeks.
As of the 19th, we’ll begin to feel the shift into Leo season. Our urge to play and be creative might be activated but not given free rein. There is still a collective stress on the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) that will be activated once again as planets start piling up in Leo and Taurus.
Self-expression could feel dampened due to a sense of restriction or isolation from community, but that same influence could be turned into fuel for the flames of a deeply creative and productive state of mind. Connecting with our own heartfelt sense of self, and having the courage to embrace what makes us strange, odd and different might be just the challenge that can restore that sense of freedom and strength from within ourselves.
